SHROUD OF TURIN

A length of cloth measuring 14 1/2 ft. by 3 1/2 ft., the shroud is so named because it has been kept in a vault at Turin Cathedral ever since it came into the possession of the House of Savoy more than 500 years ago. Believers claim it to be the cloth in which Christ was wrapped for burial.
