Famous Last Will and Testament Saint Frances Xavier Mother Cabrini

About the last will and testament of famous Saint Frances Xavier Mother Cabrini.

WHERE THERE'S A WILL

FRANCES XAVIER "MOTHER" CABRINI, Italian-American Roman Catholic saint, died 1917

Last Will: In a two-sentence handwritten note, the missionary founder of hospitals and schools left two parcels of land in Manhattan to Sister Clothilde Lombardi. The Columbus Hospital on 19th Street and Mother Cabrini High School in Washington Heights now occupy these grounds. When Mother Lombardi died in 1934 without leaving a will, New York's public administrator deeded the property to the Missionary Sisters of the Sacred Heart--a decision that would have pleased Mother Cabrini, the dynamic nun who was canonized as a saint in 1946.
