Discovered by Franz von Reichenstein of Hungary in 1782. Tellurium has numerous electronics applications. Occasional cases of tellurium poisoning have caused victims to have extreme garlicky breath for weeks or even months. Some people claim that huge doses of vitamin C cure halitosis.
