Discovered by Glenn Seaborg, Edwin McMillan, Joseph Kennedy, and Arthur Wahl of the U.S. in 1940. Plutonium is the most dangerous manmade element. Aside from being a potent organic poison, plutonium comprises the heart of the atomic bomb.
