The creatures came down from the trees and ventured out on the plains. At 1st moving on all fours, they learned to walk and run on 2 legs, which enabled them to carry weapons. They discovered fire, learned to cook. As their vocal apparatus developed, they started to talk. As they spoke, their brains developed. They became human beings. All we know about them is based on findings of fossilized bone and excrement, ashes, tools.
