Brazil Nuts

The Brazil nut tree reaches heights of over 150'. It is harvested for commercial use in the Amazon basin, the bulk of the work being done by low-paid migrant laborers. Brazil nuts are high in fat and contain some protein, iron, and thiamine. Two Brazil nuts have the same caloric food value as one egg.
