About the gypsy creation story, the mythology behind the history and origins of man, created by God in an oven.

GYPSY

In Gypsy mythology, God baked the 1st men and women in an oven. Some, however, were kept too long in the oven and they turned out dark: the black race. The 2nd time God opened the oven door too soon and the baking was not quite ready: the white race. The 3rd time God produced images baked properly to the right color: the Indians, ancestors of the Gypsies.
