Scrapbooks. There was a time, not so long ago, when scrapbook-keeping was a favorite hobby. Nobody seems to keep them anymore, but collectors avidly buy old scrapbooks. As with most collectibles the older the better, but content is important, too. Scrapbooks loaded with snapshots of aunts and uncles don't arouse much enthusiasm. But those containing post-cards, advertising cards, newspaper and magazine clippings always bring good prices. A well filled scrapbook from the early 1900s can sell for $50 to $75--higher if any of its contents are valuable in themselves.
